Jervis Bay

We were woken up by a plague of screeching cockatoo's, but I dont have to go to work so it didnt matter. The river front was still spectacular, and with the still of the morning and glass finish on the water I didnt mind just sitting down on a slightly wet camp chair and taking it all in, whilst my princess slept.

We left for the Nowra tourist info after breakfast and got some tips on where to go.We decided to have an easy day and went to Jarvis Bay; just half hour down the road and got a site there.  We had the whole arvo free to just relax, so we did some walking and beaching, and even snuck in a spot of fishing, that bagged us a barely legal flathead for dinner.

Jervis bay claim to fame is the whitest sand in the world...  I dont doubt it, but im sure other beaches have the equivalent grade of white...  Water was crystal clear, but we struggled with good sunlight to make the photos show it... (no filters used in the following photos)

On one of our walks Lidia found a dead Gremlin..  Not sure I endorse it, but here it its photo:

We cooked up the flatty for dinner, and just packing up a Possum came down to say hello..  Lidia blinded him with a spotlight so I could sneek up and get the photo ..  I think he was pretty comfortable around people because he didnt flinch at all.

Over all,a pretty relaxing day.  I have also added some photos of my favourite photo page if you want to check it out..
