Mallacoota - Day 2

Lidia decided today that we would do some walking.  So we went on a walk to appreciate the natural wonder of the Mallacoota waterways.  It was an 8km walk to the picnic aream. We had lunch with a lizard (monitor), then headed 8km back to the car.

Monitor - Mallacoota

The walk was a little disapointing, but still had some nice views and exercise that we needed.

When we got back to the car it was mid afternoon so we decided to do one more short walk. The Double Creak Nationa Walk - a pleasant rainforest and dry scerophyll forest walk.  The promise was Koalas, but we saw none:(  The walk was nicer over elevated boardwalks and a very short one.

Toward the end Lidia found a tree stump that looked like a dog (or a wolf)  Have to agree with this.

We then want for a swim at Betka Beach, which was nothing special but was nice to be flotating around instead of walking.  We took then a drive to Quarry Beach which had some amazing rock formations and erosion from the sea.

We also found the Secret Beach, but cannot reveil its location...
